WORK, WORK, WORK

At first, photography was a way to bring back images from in nature trips. After a solo hike through central Norway, I continued with three solo ski trips across Lapland. My nature photos were shown at various conferences.

Following my MBA, I continued with a Masters in Ethnology that took me to Indian Reserves, Eskimo villages and to the North of Russia. Photography then became a way of describing people lifes.

Afterwards I started a career as a Human Resources Management consultant that made me increasingly aware of with the way we see, describe and manage work. Work about work…

At the same time during my vacations, I traveled abroad to take photographs. My style became more and more personnel, my technique improved, I also developed an exhibition web site, and exposed my pictures at various locations, including… at work.

The development of my web site (axismundi.info) helped me to present my work to a large number of people and to enrich it with their reactions and comments.

Today I complete the project in Asia, and start it in Paris, at night, taking pictures of people working… after I have finished my work. I thus try to leave the analytical approach of work and enlarge its meaning through photography.
