Showered
with blows, showered with rain, sometimes showered with applause...
You
will never work there, but these men and women know no better place to work.
Here
and there some of them dream of becoming rich and famous, while some are
content to help and develop
and others; many work to have enough to eat, while others work to have enough to wed.
These
men and women work by the sea, on the Steppes or in the foothills of mountains,
they work in hi-tech business parks or in suburban slums.
I
